Project leader for Trades Clearance and Settlement Project.

- Analized business requirements and performed research for self-clearing implementation. Deliverable:

business specifications.

- Defined system architecture and development cycle methodology, choosed software design tools,

development platform.

- Created data models to support settlement cycle that is capable to absorb future extension to complete

backoffice operations: Security Master, Stock Records, Settlement Items ( Trades, Security Lending

- Implemented database prototype, performed data mining from various resources and created scripts to

- Mass Migration project. Responsible for migration of schema and data from legacy MS SQL databases to

ORACLE 8i, logical and physical (layout/storage) design and schema maintenance. Migration was

with Designer6i and Erwin, redesign/consolidation, migration of stored procedures, created scripts of data

conversion/cleaning, transaferred data, conducted perfomance optimization (indexing, storage optimization),

teamed with application developers (Java,ATG Dynamo platform) on all database related

issues, supplied documentation on new database schema and stored procedures.


- Teacher Store (e-commerce) project. Responsible for back-end ORACLE 8i data modeling, design and development of on-line Registration and Authorization schema and functions, functional roles and access privileges, data mapping and migration of data from the legacy MS SQL and IT mainframe sources. Schema was designed to fit ATG Dynamo 5 Personalization Server and Commerce Server restrictions and functionality.

- Data pipe project. Responsible for architecture design and development of ORACLE side interface of data synchronization between Website ORACLE DB and corporate DB delivered by MQ Series.

- ORACLE 8/JAVA migration. Responsible for the re-architecting, redesign of the back-end using ORACLE 8 advantages, evaluation of the front-end development tools like JDeveloper or JBuilder, prototyping front-end.

- Trade Management System. Responsible for a front-end prototyping in JDeveloper 3.0 and ORACLE 8 PL/SQL business logic implementation for commission calculation.

- Maintenance: new requirements from clients, small ongoing projects like out-of-DTC handling, extending of availability for bank loans,etc. Responsible for a design and outlining tasks for junior programmers.

Previous projects: I participated as a senior designer/architect and developer during a full life cycle of each project from initial design, data modeling and prototyping to the maintenance of the working product.
